It still hasn't sunk in. Even though I am sitting on a bare floor staring at two suitcases and a carry-on. In three hours, I'll be on my way to the airport, to my new life in Istanbul.
Harika (ha-ree-ka) is the Turkish word for wonderful, marvellous, extraordinary. It has always been one of my most favourite words, for both its meaning and the pleasure of pronouncing it.
