'To overcome the crisis, we must sacrifice the bosses'.. you couldnt have come across a more appropriate grafitti slogan for the times. If you got to wander around Exarhia, the place is like someone's scrapbook. Athens is tired and angry and I fear it will get worse. I live in Greece and I really enjoy your posts. Keep them coming.

Thanks Sophie! You know, I definitely felt the vibe— people just felt angry and worn down. There was a tension in the air, and it did not make for the happiest holiday, but it was fascinating nonetheless. It's understandable how frustrated everyone must be, from what little I know. I hope the situation improves soon.

I felt that the graffiti I came across was a perfect reflection of this tension and anger— my friend acted as translator, and I thought that particular piece was powerful.

I'm glad you are enjoying the posts!
